Proposed Introduction of Avery Hill and Falconwood Controlled Parking Zones

Decision Maker: Leader of the Council

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Decision:

1.         Noted the outcome of local consultation on proposals to introduce controlled parking zones (CPZs) in parts of Avery Hill and Falconwood.

2.         Agreed to the advertising and making of Traffic Management Orders to implement the following parking controls, subject to satisfactory conclusion of the statutory consultation process

3.         Noted that the proposals have been amended, from those proposed at consultation, to reflect the concerns of residents of Packmores Road and traders on Bexley Road.

4.         Noted that the amended proposals are broadly similar to previous proposals that were the subject of an objection from the London Borough of Bexley and that a repeat objection is likely to require a referral to the Mayor for London for a decision.
